Define “done” before the work begins.

A useful completion checklist makes five things clear: what must be delivered, who owns it, when it is due, what proves it happened, and who accepts it.

A practical completion framework

  1. Confirm the scope. Write what the customer or receiving team expects, including acceptance criteria.
  2. Assign ownership. Give each requirement a responsible owner and due date.
  3. Resolve unfinished work. Track corrections and outstanding questions until they are addressed.
  4. Collect proof. Attach the appropriate delivery record, document, photo, test result, or other evidence.
  5. Record acceptance. Capture the required review or approval and complete the handoff.

The checklist builder runs on your device and exports a text checklist. It does not send the entered checklist to AI or save it to a paid workspace. A checklist is a planning aid; the responsible reviewer must verify the work and any industry-specific requirements.
